This could go either way and I'm not trying to scare you just giving my best advice. I had a miscarriage in March and this is what is started to look like it then got heavier and bright red. I'm now 9 weeks pregnant today with my second try and I had light brown spotting like this at the beginning then it faded away. Just keep an eye on it. If you want go to the ER, I did.

I'm 5 weeks, and I haven't had any spotting. This will be my first pregnancy. It's a little late for the blood to be from implantation bleeding. I have been reading a lot though. Everything I have read says if you have spotting, you should check with your healthcare provider. If you don't have any cramping, you are probably fine. I will say a prayer that baby is safe and sound. I have heard from friends that are mothers that women have spotting and even periods sometimes during pregnancy, so I know it's a common occurrence.

I had spotting after sex a couple weeks ago when I was like 6  weeks...just relaxed the rest of the day in case. Wasn't worried since it was only a little blood. Went to my ob Appointment a week later and everything was fine. Spotting happens a lot more than you'd think. But if you're worried or it persists I would call your ob
