Pregnancy after pulmonary embolism
I know I am probably going to get some flack from some people but whatever. To those who aren't jerks, I had a pulmonary embolism back in January. It was caused by birth control pills. So I can no longer be on any form of estrogen again. My husband and I were married last June. He has no children of his own but I have two. We are wanting to be pregnant but are scared since I had the blood clot. My obgyn says I would have to be on lovenox shots daily since pregnancy increases estrogen to protect myself from forming another clot. I also had a rare pregnancy-specific liver issue during my last pregnancy which can increase your chances of developing it again with any subsequent pregnancies. I also hAve a herniated disc in my lower back, so it feels like my body is conspiring against me. I am looking for some support in making our decision to try for a baby together. I am hoping someone can share a story about when the odds seemed stacked against them. I need some positivity here. Thanks :)
