My son is 5 days old. Has had some problems since birth breastfeeding and staying awake. Right now my nipples have couple scabs from prob not good latch. He will latch on and only stay for a couple seconds. Now my milk has come in my nipples/ areoles are firmer and he won't feed. I pumped to make softer but the areole is still firm but breast is soft. It seems my nipple doesn't come out far now whether engorged or not. Any suggestions? Maybe nipple shield help? I had to pump earlier and bottle feed cause he would latch and he's already lost 12oz.  Please help
