Brown period blood 😦

So around yesterday afternoon I started my period and when I checked the blood was brown (which is usually a normal thing for me on the first day), but the following day the blood never changed to the red colour that it usually is and I'm not bleeding as heavily as I would have on the second day. Should I be concerned? 😯 any knowledge would be greatly appreciated 🙈
