Yes, implantation wouldnt of happened yet so would be no pregnancy hormone to detect.

Different for everyone and different for each cycle, I've had positives at 13dpo, 9dpo & 10dpo with different pregnancies

Yea usually 9DPO is early. Of course everyone is different. I would wait for 12DPO and later.
