Pregnacy

So today I found out I am pregnant HOWEVER, I have just finished my 5 day period and since yesterday I have had bright red bleeding accompanied by some cramps. I went to hospital today and I am awaiting a scan tomorrow morning. Needless to say I'm extremely anxious. On his notes he wrote "probably miscarriage". I'm hoping he is wrong. I don't know how to feel about this, I'm preying I'm not losing the baby.
