We welcomed our little man Emmett Snow into the world on 8/27/16 just one day after his due date. I was induced due to gestational diabetes and ended up in labor for a little over 30 hours, a lot of scares with both him and I but was finally able to deliver him vaginally (which shocked all the nurses and doctors working that day because we all thought we would end up in an emergency c-section.) My complications were due to doctor/nurse during the night shift that would not listen when I voiced concerns but thanks to the staff that took over in the morning everything ended up okay. Our little man is 7.2lbs and 20.5 inches long. We get to go home today!
