Not pregnant yet! 😢 But hubby and I were discussing if we wanted to know what we were having before little one arrived.. I didn't know with my son I just had a feeling it was a boy.. Definitely added to the excitement of birth.. Hubby said first that in one way he wanted to know so we could get things in advance.. However he wants more for it to be a surprise.. I want that as well.. The dilemma comes when I'm trying to do a baby shower.. Plus I wanted to do a gender reveal of some sort.. The only idea I can come up with is do baby shower/gender reveal/introduce baby at the same time which kinda feels like I'm taking away part of the excitement of the pregnancy.. I didn't have a baby shower for my son.. I lived too far from family and had no friends.. Leaves me kinda feeling like I missed out with him.. He's 9 now so it's not like I have anything from when he was a baby to reuse anyway.. Any ideas or suggestions on still celebrating the pregnancy but keeping gender secret until after baby is born?
