Alize' • Im 19 years old. Married to my best friend. And we are so excited that our family is growing. Due August 29th 💕
My labor story
We had to be at the hospital by 6 am, got in the room got checked and I was at a 4, my midwife then told me that we get to skip the first part since I was already a 4. At that point I was given oxytocin to help me dilate.  around 3pm she checked me again and I was at a 5, my water broke and that's when the pain was so bad ! I then asked for some medicine, that sent me on a loop ! I remember going in and out of reality, she came in sometime later and I was at a 7 and sadly gave in to the epidural. I was so out of it I remember not even being able to hold my head up, She checked me at 9pm and I was at a 9 and at that point I had so much pressure i could still feel it but the contractions were not as bad, she said she would come back in 30 minutes and when she did I was at a 10 and ready to push . It took all of my power to push out my baby girl born at 10:12pm on August 28, 2016 ! Weighing in at 9 pounds and 6 ounces 😳😳😳 omg can you say big baby ! She then laid on me for one hour and latched on right away. As Emma laid with me my midwife was trying to get my placenta out but unfortunately she had to do it herself, 😳😳 again worst pain ever and when she finally got it all out she stitched me up.
Over all I would do it all over again to have her here with my husband and I💕 she completes our family as she is now both of us in one 💜
You may think you are going to have it one way and it be 100% different don't beat your self up about it. I was upset that I gave into the epidural but at the end of the day it could have been worst !
Thank you for reading !!
