Start of contractions to hospital time?

I know the 511 rule, but am just curious how long from the start of contractions did it take until you went to the hospital? My husband is convinced we need to leave immediately lol but obviously I know early labor can last hours. Just curious to see how long it took everyone to go into active labor

I feel the best advice is you know your body and you know when you feel like the pain is getting bad enough with each contraction

I was having contractions all day long,  but didn't go to the hospital til my water broke.  my husband freaked out and rushed around trying to gather up the other kids and got mad because I was standing in the hallway laughing at him.   I'm not a fan of the hospital so I wanted to wait even longer but he wasn't having it.   After my water broke our youngest son was born 4 hours later.

I waited about 2 hours, but it was only 9 hours from when it began to when I was holding my daughter

I stay home until I feel them getting stronger and close together... Maybe two hours or so. My labors have been 6-8 hours

When I arrived for my first I was 8 cm and with my second I was 9. I had no idea how close I was lol. They were 2/3 minutes apart on arrival and only got closer after hopping in the bath tub!
