My baby is four days old. He slept awesome in his bassinet thing at the hospital. But at home he now won't sleep in his bassinet, I'm using a play pen that has a newborn bassinet sleeper attachment until I receive my actual bassinet. I put him down and in a matter of minutes he's squirming awake no matter how full or deep sleep he was. I have a 4 year old too so I'm just exhausted, and start getting anxiety at night which worries me cuz with my first I had post partum depression. But back on topic, he has to sleep with me but I don't want anything to happen because of that . it's my husband, 4 year old, and me then baby cradeled in my arms. Any tricks that have worked for you guys?
