Too big for the car seat?

Is anyone else's LO getting too big for their Infant carseat?  I had to adjust the straps again today and she isn't even 4 months old yet. They are at the top notches now and her shoulders are pressed against the side of the seat

I actually kinda feel the same way not because my daughter is big she fits perfectly. It's just that she keeps picking up her head like she wants to sit up.

Yes same! We moved to a convertible car seat but I still bring the pumpkin to put him in while we grocery shop

The straps should be below shoulders, so that's fine. Rubbing the outside might get uncomfortable. You may need to purchase a convertible seat That rear faces. That will be the next seat.

I would ask a car seat tech. I used to be one when I worked for a children's hospital. we had a lot of parents think their child was ready to move to  next seat a lot earlier due to legs hitting back of seat or looking like they were too big for seat. Most of the time this is not the case and the child is just fine and fits well. The straps should be at or below the shoulders when rear facing and it's fine if arms touch the sides.
