Teething?

Question

So my son has been a monster for the past few days, he's usually a happy baby but lately he's been crying more often and having trouble sleeping (even more than usual). He's been sucking on everything (look at pic) and he's also drooling more. He's 3 months 7 days so I feel like it's early. I can't feel or see any bumps on his gums but I can't of anything else to explain why this kid has been such a cranky monster! Any advice would be greatly appreciated. :)

My little man started teething at 7 1/2 weeks. Our Ped told us that he may teeth for up to three months before a tooth may actually pop through. The gums have to thin out and the teeth still move and shift, hence why they want to chew on everything. I gave my little man plenty of toys that are chew friendly (rubber elephant, cooling key ring, etc...) I also give him a wet washcloth that has been in cold water to help when he is chewing really bad and is uncomfortable. But also, as mentioned in a previous comment this is also a leap window. A friend recommended the app "Wonder Weeks", it is full of information on the different developmental leaps and weeks they take place and tips on how to help baby cope and work through them. It's not free but it's totally worth it!! Sorry this is so long! Hope it was helpful though 😊

My daughter is 3 months and 2 weeks and she constantly wants to put everything in her mouth she can get on her hands on! I already had teething rings but she can't grip them for a long time so I just hold it. Drools every second of the day lol. I see bumps in gums which let me knew she was teething. Such a young age tho. But this generation of babies are soooo smart and doing things waaaay too early!

My son has also been like this lately and is the same age, i think its a combo of a developmental leap and/or a growth spurt because his 0-3 onesies are suddenly too small. Theres also a 4 month sleep regression supposedly sometime between 14-19 weeks. Lots going on for these babies at this time, and all can make sleep and mood worse! I have been wondering about teething too but i think we are too early for that. My cousins baby got teeth at 5 mos and the ped said even that was early!

My girl is 13 weeks and is doing the same thing. So much drool! And she seems like she's going to eat her hands off.

My daughter turned 4 months old today and her first tooth broke through! I felt and saw it in her mouth this morning. My husband couldn't believe it. She has been drooling and sucking her hands the last 4 weeks. She has also been putting everything in her mouth / enjoying tethers the last 2 weeks. And napping horribly the last 2 weeks. Now we know why! ( tried posting a pic but it's not letting me for some reason)

I am in a similar situation and was told by MIL that my husband started teething around 3 months.   So while I can't see anything I know it's around the corner.   So not earlier than my husband and was told this is pretty normal.   I know it seems young but it's common... Every baby is different.   Good luck.

My 3 month old chews on everything and drools like crazy! But I know she is teething, I can see the two bottom teeth..they just haven't popped through yet
