How many weeks?

Question

At how many weeks can you drive on your own with your baby? Its hard since my husband works and theres times where i have appts and have to ask a friend to come with me.

I was driving with my son the day after we got home from the hospital.

I was driving with my daughter within a week. My husband works crazy long hours so if we ever want, say...find in the house, that's on me lol. Super easy delivery, though...I don't know what the time line would be for a more complicated one.

When you feel comfortable. I did at 1 week postpartum because my husband gone during he week for work.

I drove on my own about 5 days after delivering.  Had an uncomplicated delivery.  Still sore and bleeding but otherwise felt good.

Livestrong says short drives are OK within a few days if you're feeling well and have no dizziness but long drives should not be done for 6 weeks.
