Breaking some bad habits

Parents! I need some help. My daughter is the neediest baby. Everyone says she can't be spoiled this young but I beg to differ. She's only 3 months and she doesn't want anything but for me to hold her. Anyone have some tips of how to break her of this besides letting her cry it out! I hate that so much, she just wastes so much energy screaming for those 5-10 mins
