Heartbeat?

Looking for positive stories while I wait a week for my next appointment 
Went in today for my 6 1/2 appt and they saw a gest.sac and yolk sac but no heartbeat ,sono tech took several measurements and some show me at 6 weeks and some only at 5 weeks 3-4 days ,I go back in a week ,dr didn't seem too concerned ,who else had to wait to see a heartbeat?

Me! It's so hard to haft to wait! I went in at 5 weeks 3 days and didn't see a heartbeat! Sure enough went in at 6 weeks 4 days and it was beating away with 160 BPM!

You could be a couple of days off from when you thought you got pregnant which would be why there's no heart beat yet

You may just be earlier than you thought. I went in at 5 weeks 4 days and couldn't see the baby. A week later there was a heart beat. Keep up the faith. I'm sure your little pea is just fine!

Don't worry, it's probably a little early for heartbeat, my doctor said that even though some show it soon it usually isn't until week 7/8

This happened to me a couple of weeks ago. There was a sac and a yolk sac, but no fetal pole yet. They were checking for ectopic, so they warned me before we started, that it was probably too early to see much. I went in a week later and there was the baby and it's sweet little heartbeat. Really try not to worry, my ultrasound tech said the yolk sac is a really good sign.
