Cloth diaper mommas

I'd like to start my baby on cloth diapers bc who likes wasting money on disposables ?😂 what are some things I should know ? Must haves ? Your recommended brand ? How often do you wash them ? How much do I need to get started ? Did you buy one , see if you liked it and then buy more when you were certain ? Are the sizes the same as disposables .. As in N, 1,2,3, etc ?
