Anyone get all negative OPKs and still got pregnant?

It's my first time ttc and I also just got off birth control for the first time in 12 years. Have tested with opk's everyday and always got negative. Might be my body adjusting to no bc. Could I still get pregnant?

Are you testing at a specific time of day? You could have missed it (for example, if you only tested in the morning and your surge came in the afternoon. By the next morning, it could be negative again). But you were good if you had sperm already waiting for the egg :)

You cant get pregnant if you're not ovulating. How long ago did you come off of birth control? My understanding is that it takes four  for your body to adjust and completely rid of the hormones from the birth control.

I never get a positive OPK but know I ovulate from meds and blood tests.  My dr said they aren't worth the stress just have sex every other day from days 9-18.  Good luck

Try starting with tracking your menstrual and also do the ovulation test which I prefer the digital ovulation test where you don't have to guess . It may take your body some time since the birth controls are in your system but that don't mean you can't get pregnant right away and that don't mean you can't get pregnant right away. Some people start taking prenatal to early prep their body
