High Bilirubins?

Our little guys Bilirubin count is higher than they'd like so we are getting a biliblanket delivered today to start phototherapy. Anyone else going through this? I know there are worse things that could happen, but until he's completely healthy I just feel so worried!

What are his levels? My son had them at 15 then 9 then 7 then back up then down we did 3 rounds of light therapy I asked for a blanket to take him home and they said no I guess because the jaundice my son had was different then newborn jaundice mine had it because We both have different blood I'm O+ and he is A..he is two weeks old today still has to get his color back but that takes time..,I still worry just feed him every two hours so he can poop it all out and pee it out I've done this with my first Born too because of the blood issue..my second has my blood type so he never had jaundice.,it's stressful but he will be over it

We had to do the billiblanket with our little guy. We called him our little glow worm 😄 it was hard the first 24 hours but we had to have it on him for 3-4 days and you get the hang of it. He is doing great now. We did find that the eye cover would frustrated him so we were use a blanket on top of him, under his arm but all around him and covering the light so he didn't have to wear them. Good luck! And don't stress it's really normal 😊

My son had to stay an extra night under the light at the hospital but is two weeks now and perfect!
