Rhogam shot?

Has anyone ever had that shot? My mom said i need to get it because of my negative blood type if my fiance doesnt have a negative blood type too. If youve had that shot when did you get it? Im sooo worried because i dont have health insurance or anything yet and i dont want to lose my baby.. 😢

You don't need the shit till 28 weeks then right before or after you deliver. Every pregnancy i get them. Try to get on Medicare then cannot deny you being pregnant.

My (adoptive) mom had to have it. She says it didn't entirely work for my brother (her second born) and her body basically attacked him when she was giving birth to him... I'd say it's definitely important, especially after your first.

I got it at 6 weeks because I was bleeding and then again at 28 weeks because that's normal time to get it  I'll have to have it once more when baby is born.

It doesn't affect your baby it's to help you! Because your partner has Rh positive blood your baby is highly likely to as well and because you have Rh negative blood it can cause problems for you. First thing to figure out is if your baby has Rh positive or negative blood because if its negative you have nothing to worry about!

I've had two so far. One at 12 weeks when they thought I was miscarrying and one just the other day at 28 weeks. You only need 2 and the first one isn't until 28 weeks.

I had to have the shot. I got it at 28 weeks. I'm rh neg. They didn't care what my husband blood was. It's for the safety of you and the baby. They will let you know if you have to have it at 24 weeks. I have pretty good insurance and it cost me 55$ out of pocket.

All negative blood types need the RH shot. Otherwise your blood might not mix with baby's causing your body to attack the pregnancy as an invader, terminating the pregnancy. You have the shot twice in the whole pregnancy. Get on WIC or pregnancy Medicade now.

You only need it if you have a mix of blood or previous pregnancy with a baby with a + blood shot. If not then you'll get it short before or after labor.
