Found out we're having a boy! Circumcision?

So we found out we are having a baby boy! I am over the moon but now reality has hit that I need to make a decision whether I want to circumcise my son or not and I am honestly SO conflicted. Anyone have any advice?? This is not to argue, I am open to every fact, opinion, or advice anyone wants to give!

We are not doing circumcision. We did the research and found it not to be medically necessary. My advice is to do your own research and come to the decision yourself, it is a huge debate in the US, not so much in Europe  (they don't do routine circs).

It's up to you! To be honest, I do billing for pediatricians and you'd be surprised at the number of little boys that get infections etc and have to be circumcised by a urologist when they are older and it is more painful and expensive.

No facts to give here but I will say it's your baby, your choice. We personally went ahead with the circumcision and have no complaints. ☺️ good luck on this decision.

I'm having a boy too. We will circumcise. It's never been an option or even a conversation for us. I don't have any reasons why other than its easier to take care of and my SO is circumcised. But it's your choice!

I just asked my bf what he wanted and that's what he chose. I personally think, Those are men expertise. I leave it up to them.

I think it's becoming less common in the US which is mainly where it's popular. I live in Aus now and nobody really does it here. I personally wouldn't even consider it, but your baby and your choice!

Do some research on this. The US is really one of the last countries that does this (it's not even thought of in Europe and other developed nations),and even in the US only about half choose to do it.

Foreskin is there for a reason and there's no reason to think it will cause problems as long as you teach your son to clean himself (just as you'd teach a daughter).
