Helppp I'm scared to go get on birth control cause I have no clue what they will do can anyone tell me exactly what goes on during the appointment to get on the pill??

The dr asks you about your medical history and sex history they might do a pap but you dont have to its just better to know your body is working like it should then they go over the different forms of bc patch iud implant pill etc then they help you decide what would be best for you for the iud inplant and shot (i might be missing one or two forms) they usually have you come back in since they have to order them but everything else they can write an rx for and you pick it up at your pharmacy

They will just talk to you about why you want to go on it and go over your options and see if the pill is the best fit for you. Its a pretty simple doctors appointment.
