Anyone relate to losing interest in sex after fertile week?

It seems like as soon as my menstrual cycle is over we get busy nearly daily till about 3 days after the lh surge is positive. We are super active through the whole fertile window and a day or two after... then i just lose all interest and i go a week to 10 days prior to my next cycle having no sex at all. Anyone else relate? Is it part of the reason we haven't gotten pregnant or am i understanding it correctly that you can pretty much only gdt pregnant in the fertile window?

I agree, it's hard to keep it going at the same rate throughout your entire cycle... Even if you aren't ttc! I'm kind of new to this, but from the research I have done, it seems like one of the biggest problems couples face when trying to get pregnant is misjudging when they are actually ovulating. Even if you track temps, cervical fluid, or use OPK's... You could be a day or two off when you actually ovulate, and might be missing the optimal days.

If I were you I would check out the "sperm meets egg plan". It's designed for people who have suffered a miscarriage and want to get pregnant right away. However, I have heard and read soooo many success stories from people who followed it, regardless of their history of ttc. Here is the link I found....

Same. We basically only have sex around the fertile window bc I get so burned out from it all. Lol I know it's horrible and embarrassing. I just don't feel like an overly sexual person and I don't think my husband is either if it wasn't for ttc I don't think we'd have sex nearly as much.

There's always a tiny chance but yea the days of your fertile window are the main days you have high chances of getting pregnant.  Many people follow it to not get pregnant instead of using birth control. My husband and I are the same with being super active during our fertile window then not so much after. .. I think it's cuz you get tired and body needs a break... at least for us. .. we're 32 and 34 so not really in our peak sex drive either and we are both ok with it

The day of ovulation I am usually tired and cranky, but I power through. I wasn't though, and I would stop having sex the day of ovulation or the day after and I wonder if that was stopping me from conceiving as well. This month though I am bding 3-4 days after ovulation (well, my LH surge) just to cover my bases. I usually will lose interest in sex and then get a big sex drive just before my period starts. The hormone progesterone which is in the latter part of our cycle can make us feel tired and cranky and bloated (which is why preggo women are usually very tired in the first trimester.)
