cervix question...

Okay, I usually do not check my cervix because honestly, I've never known how to. However, this morning when I went to the bathroom, my vagina felt hard so I was like "what the heck?" So I decided to stick a finger up there and it was super tight, I could barely get it in, and for the first time in my life I could feel my cervix. It feels hard like a fingertip almost. So my question is what does this mean? A little background, I just stopped my birth control 9 days ago, had a positive opk on Sunday but also bled from Sunday to yesterday. Any insight would be greatly appreciated ☺️
