Birth control trial to regulate hormones?

Hi everyone, I haven't been on here for about two months as I just found it very hard to see so many people get their BFP (which is amazing for them) but just hard after 3 years of TTC. So my doctor put me on gedarel contraceptive pill to regulate my hormones as I have a short luteal phase. I've had bloods done and my estrogen and progesterone and prolactin are normal. She said to try it for three months, then come off it. Has anyone else been in this situation and then fallen pregnant? I just need some hope, every night I have dreams that I'm pregnant and then I go to the doctor and they say sorry it's gone, it's killing me inside. Xxxxx
