Girl name Romanie help

I'm 31 weeks pregnant and we can't agree on a name to save our lives! The closest we have got was Romanie.

My problem is, I like the name Romanie. I don't like the association other parts of the world (I'm in the US) have the the ethnic group the romani's or Romany gypsies.

What are your thoughts on the name Romanie, and what is the thing you think about when you hear the name? Please help.
