Its my SO's day to have his child. It was also back to school night. We show up and his ex isnt there. We sit down listen to the teacher and go through the papers that the teacher had laid out on the desk. She told everyone to take the papers home with them as there were things that needed to be filled out in them. So i picked up the paper.

The ex arrives at the end of the first presentation. It immediately got awkward because she was trying to take over and interrupt while my SO was meeting the teacher and talking to her. She did the same thing last year as well. I think its her way of trying to be the more important parent. We ended up staying for the second one which was the same as the first presentation. I asked the ex if she wanted the packets of papers and she said no she would look at them later. She never asked to see them or anything so i just held them the entire time.

We leave and all the sudden she is mad because i wouldnt let her see them. My SO obviously not happy because she is complaining asked me with an attitude. I told him i asked her if she wanted the papers and she said no. Now he is in a mood because of her bitching. Oh plus she had to come over to see the papers and bitch some more in person.

I hate this feeling of im dammed if i do and dammed if i dont. If i show up im overstepping but if i stay home i dont care enough. I apparently overstepped by holding papers. But the rules that im supposed to follow dont apply to her husband. Im over the bs. From now on im staying home so i dont even have to see that b**ch's face or hear her voice or feel uncomfortable because of her attitude.
