Has anyone conceived while having mirena in place?

Question

I  had mirena placed 7 weeks pp. My baby is 23 weeks old now. I bled for an entire month after having mirena placed and after that I stopped having periods.if we are blessed with another baby I  would rather not  pregnant again until my little one is around two so I  opted for mirena. I'm bf also so that was the most reasonable choice.

Anyway, for a few days I have been feeling so ill, tired, crampy, headache, acne, eating everything in sight and bloating. Pretty much the same symptoms as when I was pregnant with my baby. I also check my IUD monthly and it's always in the correct place.

Today I wiped and had a streak of pink blood  then nothing. Should I consider that my period and not worry?

I'd love to hear others experiences on this. I don't want to take a test just yet because it is so rare to fall pregnant on mirena but my brain will not shut off thinking of it!! It's so scary to not have a period!

I had mirana for 3 years after bleeding for 6 mo I stopped having periods completely. I was told by Dr It's normal with mirana.

I've had the Mirena for a total of SIX years (before I had my LO) and on 3 separate occasions I thought I was pregnant. Because it was in my uterus, my conclusion wass that my body confused it and gave me similar symptoms to pregnancy. I never was pregnant, though you should take a test to be sure.

My doctor told me it is completely normal to stop having periods with the mirena in place but there's always that small percentage and pregnancy with an iud is very dangerous so I would take a test to ease your mind

Ive been going through the same thing. I got mine in at at 6 weeks postpartum  had about a week of bleeding then immediately started getting all of my pregnancy symptoms again. My fiancé  had me take a test just to make sure i wasnt pregnant again.
