Depends on drug.

Erratic behavior.
Missing appointments.
Lying about going places.
Not coming home for days.
Eyes bloodshot or constricted.
Oder on clothing.
Loss of interest in other things.
Making excuses to get high.
Failing drug tests.
Fired from work.
Legal troubles.

I'm an ex heroin addict.  So what do you mean - addict or user?   Do you have an idea about what drug.

There is a website called drugs-forum.com there is a ton of information and support specific to this issue on there - you may find it helpful xx

You could just ask them? And if that doesn't go down we'll ask them to do a drug test. A person with nothing to hide wouldn't have an issue and would want to prove you wrong.
