Gas-x safe to take?

I googled safe medicines and gas-x came up. I'm extremely gasy and bloated. My dr. Give me a list of safe medications I could take for all sorts of things but I couldn't find anything for gas on the list she gave me except Imodium. Which also treats diahrrea I didn't get it because I'm constipated too. So I didn't want to make that worse. What can I take?

Was there anything on the list for the constipation? I would treat the constipation and then see how gassy you feel. For me they are hand in hand.
