Crying in the car, stop or keep going?

Question

I have been very fortunate to say my daughter has only had to make a few solo trips in the backseat of a vehicle without me beside her. I just recently started taking her out places by myself meaning no one is in the back seat to comfort her if she starts crying. She has only fussed a few seconds before in the back by herself and never truly cried yet...what do you all do when this happens? Do you pull over and get them out or do you keep going in hopes they will calm down?

I keep going. And sing. Loudly. Partly to get his attention and partly to block out the crying 😂

Keep going, if you stop and take them out as soon as they cry they will make a habit of it.

I keep going. If she gets bad, I'll pull over and give her the binkie. But otherwise she cries. She has to be in the car a lot, so taking her out just isn't an option. However, mine typically does really well and almost never has anyone in the back with her.

I talk to him until we get where we are going. It's unusual for him to cry in the car thankfully.

I usually keep going unless he is screaming bloody murder. This is usually when he begins to get overheated. He does pretty good and sleeps mostly in the car

My daughter hates the car. I try to reassure her while driving but she cries so hard I'm forced to stop a lot to comfort her then continue. It really sucks, I hope she gets better soon 😢

I usually put on my baby's favorite songs. Works like a charm most of the time. :) If that doesn't work, then I will just talk to him and reassure him until we get to where we are going.
