Sexually Transmitted Infections.... I have questions....
This is so embarrassing to share and I'm sitting in my room crying right now because I don't know who to talk to or even ask.... So please don't be mean....
Two weeks ago, I was diagnosed with an STI (chlamidya) after having painful urination and pain in my lower abdomen.
I haven't had sex since the end of June. June 29th actually. And then I went in for surgery on July 7th. I had none of these symptoms until 3 weeks ago having no idea what it was....
I've spoken with the guy that gave it to me but he's shown no symptoms and I went cage match on his ass.... (He has been the only guy I've had sex with since my ex boyfriend who I broke up with at the beginning of March (right before his birthday) and we hadn't had sex for a week before that.
I'm reading online that men can show absolutely no symptoms which he isn't and I've also read that it can be in my system for months and not show itself at all..... I'm freaking out right now and sobbing because I don't know what to do....
Can anyone give me some peace of mind and tell me I'm freaking out for nothing...
Ps. I was given the meds to get rid of it 2 weeks ago as of tomorrow. And I want to get retested to make sure it's gone. How long do I wait?....
