Bed bug?!

Question

I just moved into my new apartment tonight and found this on my wall! I'm pretty sure it's a bed bug. Doesn't my landlord have to let me out of my lease over this? No way am I staying here

Update. My landlord let me move out and said I could move into a different one next week and he will be sure to inspect it throughly. Hopefully this one will be bug free

It's 100% a bedbug and you'll see them at any time of day if you have a big enough infestation. People saying it's too big are wrong because there's nothing around to show for scale. I had them for 2 years in my old apartment so I'd know them on sight.

Depending on ur zoom bed bugs are as big as a tick.  A little fatter.  This looks like a bed bug and man u got me itching . Please don't move ur stuff in because u will lose it. Look on the creases of the carpet and on all the other walls . Look in cabinets . They love hiding . And BTW for bed bugs coming out only at night.  Not all are smart lol there are some dumb ones that come out during the day . My mom had them from her neighbor    neighbor ended up getting charged 1500 plus he got evicted.  Don't need u losing all ur stuff they stay in clothes in BTW couch cushions beds every where talk to ur land lord and show her the pic

That's a bed bug. I went through that same problem when I first moved in and I took a picture of it. My landlord handle the problem and got professional help. Thank God.

that's definitely a bed bug i promise, put it in a bag if you need to for more proof than just a picture because some lamdlords can take advantage & do nothing to help!

Bed bugs generally don't come out during the day...or hang out on walls... I'd say it might be a tick or some kind of beetle. It would still freak me out though!

Bed bugs are small like fleas, but they're red. that picture is small so I'm not totally sure but it looks like a stink bug. Talk to your complex ASAP because the bed bug addendum is a part of your lease and you won't want to be at fault if they are in the apartment. If they are in the apartment, end you lease and find another complex.

That looks creepy! Call your landlord or look up laws about it. They might be there from the previous tennants and maybe the landlord can hire someone to get rid of them.
