Dealing with a colicky baby?

Anyone with a colicky baby have tips they can share on how you and your partner are handling the screams and cries? We are at our wits end and welcome any support! Blows my mind how sweet and smiley my baby girl is in the morning...only to turn into a screaming mess the rest of the day unless she is fed or bounced around.

Since you said your baby likes being bounced, i know it gets tiring walking around, i found my baby loves when i sit on the edge of my bed or couch with one hand under his butt and the other arm holding his belly/arm pit and bounce him. Kinda ike this  lol😅

We use Dr Brown bottles.  Do not lift her Legs into her belly when you change diapers!!! Roll her from side to side when you are cleaning her bottom.  If you just feed her, lifting her legs into her belly will cause colic.  There is a YouTube video on it, please search "Best Diaper changing technique for newborns to reduce colic." By MAmas chiropractic clinic. It has helped our baby so much since we changed the way we changes his diapers.

I recommend the MAM anti colic bottles. Our daughter has GER and they are amazing bottles. No more painful feedings for us. Your daughter could have some reflux going on even though she is eating,  it could feel good on her throat for the moment then back to crying/screaming again:(

Gripe water is great for colicky baby, if baby is screaming during the night time. They have a gripe water made just for night time as well.

Ok so im 7 weeks in with a colicky baby. 1- we have chnaged bottles to dr brown anti collic and we just within the last 48 hrs give her infants friend (its for colic and wind) when she is at her most settled feed i will use just wind drops. I make sure all her wind is up to this is very important as if there is a build up its really bad later on! Shes a bloody hard burper to! Since changing to infants friend and the bottles today is the 2nd day she has been more settled which normally im up all day ect with her.  Also look into a babocosh im thinking of buying one. As for mine and my husband we nearly were divorced a few weeks back it got that bad as i was the only one settling her its alot for 1 person! Weve learnt alot about her and help and just tag team when shes bad so it doesnt get to much and the other can get a break.

I'm dealing with it too, he's 6 weeks now and we're constantly trying different things so its all trial and error..what Ive noticed that has helped a little bit is changed his formula to gentle ease, bought a rocking chair (helped ALOT) , my baby loves being rocked and bounced and constantly moving, swaddle his arms tight and legs loose at night and give pacifier , white noise (specifically shushing sound, youtube "shushing for babies") . Honestly I didnt know babies needed so many naps, so make sure shes getting enough naps during the day, she may be over tired at night..even if she doesnt seem tired , darken the bedroom, turn on a fan, swaddle her and play the shushing sound.. all these things atleast helped with the SCREAMING for my baby

I feel you, my son has colic also. It's driving me insane, non stop crying all the time. And it's only me with him all day as my partner works all day. I give my son infacol to help with gas, seems to make an improvement, i also got advised off my health visitor to buy a tummy tub, the water will come up to baby's chest and will help relax baby's muscles😊
