Birth control 😑

So I just got put on a birth control pill a couple months ago. First month light period for like 3 days. I was due on Monday and stopped my pills on Sunday obviously. I didn't get it until Tuesday (yesterday) and I'm barely filling half a tampon if that within 2-4 hour span. I work in a machine shop so bathroom trips vary lol. But it's so freaking light?

Is it possible for my birth control PILL to stop my periods? I know depo shots and IUD'S can..
