I am 5 weeks and 4 days.

Today at work, I was so tired I couldn't even keep my damn face open. People would talk to me and my eyelids would be like, "No bitch. Just give it up. It's over." It was only 9AM and it was a wave of fatigue I haven't felt since bootcamp.

This morning, I made the mistake of asking my husband if he wanted me to pick up our son from day care. I came home and attempted to take a nap. 2 hours later, I was awoken by the stench of shit on my comforter.

And now as I lay here typing this, my son is trying to ride our small terrier like a horse and I can't help but wonder what it's going to be like next year when I'm alone with a toddler and a newborn. My husband and I are both active duty military and he will be deploying either before I give birth, or shortly after.

Damn you baby fever 😂
