So with my last delivery we paid $1300 out of pocket for vaginal delivery, all prenatal and post natal care, epidural, 3 nights in the hospital....everything. I have different insurance this time and they don't even cover ultrasounds or bloodwork. They cover my visits with my midwife and that's pretty much it. Not to mention we have a $3,600 deductible and $7000 max. I got an estimate from the ins company and they said it'll cost approx $5,050 for delivery. I cannot believe how expensive it is. Not to mention I have to pay out of pocket for ultrasounds. Going to limit the number of them I get for sure. Our ins is thru my husbands work and we already pay $400a month   for the 3 of us. Sorry but...thanks a fucking lot Obama. Anybody else have super shitty insurance?
