when is everyone sharing any news with family and friends??

My hubby and I are expecting our first child and even though it's still very early we want to share the news so bad! So we decided to share with our parents and family for now and wait to share with the whole world later, when is everyone else sharing the news?? 😊

I will wait until after the first ultrasound at 8 weeks to tell my family and very close friends and then I will wait until after 12 or 13 weeks to tell everyone else. :)

I had a miscarriage early on in January around 9 weeks. So once bitten...twice shy. Even though I am trying really hard to enjoy every aspect of this pregnancy and remember that it is a different one than my last.

We are wanting to wait to tell anyone until 10-12 weeks. I had a miscarriage last year at 11 weeks but baby wasn't measuring 11 weeks when miscarried. I had a ultrasound at 6-7 weeks and everything was fine. This time I'm not getting my ultrasound until 8-9 weeks.

We are getting married at WDW when I will be at 9-10 weeks so we will be telling our daughter and parents there!! It's going to be a long month waiting and not telling anyway, especially our daughter who's been praying for this for 3 years!

I just had my first ultrasound a little shy of 7 weeks and now I seen the heartbeat i feel much better. We're waiting about another two weeks to tell our parents and siblings and then waiting for the 12 week mark to tell everyone else. The only ppl who know now are my coworkers since I work around radiation all day as an X-ray tech.

I have zero self control (which is why I am preggo 😂) so I have always told my family right away. I have always announced to friends etc at the 12 week mark, but now that I have two kids and am around other moms all the time I think I will end up sharing a lot sooner.

Let me tell you as an ob nurse there is no safe time during pregnancy. So tell when you want to tell. We told at 6 weeks and lost our first and I don't regret it. Pregnant now and I can't wait but I am waiting for the ultrasound.

We're about 5w2d with our first. We went through IVF and I tried not to tell anyone when our embryo transfer date was so if it didn't work out, no one would know. But I ended up telling my mom and best friend. And they both know it was a success! My mom can't keep a secret so two of my aunts know as well. One of them went through ivf as well so it's good to have someone who gets it in the family. We are waiting to tell my MIL until after our first ultrasound; then we'll probably wait to tell the rest of the family until 10-12 weeks, and then the world!

Last time when we got an u/s with a heartbeat, we shared with a good friend, hubby's mother and my mother first, then on fb. Unfortunately we miscarried after that so we are waiting until 12 weeks or so this time. A couple of my good friends know secretly this time due to our shared fertility struggles.
