Shall I ring authorities?

So I know a girl (who I don't particularly like) and she's pregnant with a good friend of mine's baby (well he's 1 of 2 possible fathers). 
She's been taking drugs and drinking throughout the entire pregnancy.. She's due to pop soon... I feel as though I should ring social services for that poor child's wellbeing... I should've done it earlier on in her pregnancy but my other friend (the other possible father) has begged and begged me not to mention anything until he can sort out custody and DNA... What shall I do? I don't want either of my friends to hate me yet I don't want that child to be in any more danger!!

I heard (not sure how accurate it is) that there's not much cps can do while she's pregnant however most hospitals drug test the moms when in labor and if results come back positive then CPS steps in...

Yes please call and help that poor child i dont know about the hospitals where you are but here in the us every baby is tested at birth and so is the placenta and if any drugs or alcohol is found in either cps is automatically called and the baby is placed in protective services

Actually when the baby is born they  are going to run test anyways. So if she is doing drugs n the baby test positive then she will be sorry.. Social Service will be waiting for her.
