Sip and See or Virtual baby shower

Hello I just got put on bedrest. Originally my baby shower was planned for Oct 9th in Dallas, Texas but I can't leave the house now (I live in South Carolina). People keep saying I should still do a baby shower and be virtual. To me that's no fun. How can you have a shower and not be in attendance. Then I thought after baby is born I would have some kind of after shower after 4 months or so, so people can meet baby and still have a celebration.... Thoughts??
