marginal insertion of the umbilical cord????
Anyone every heard of Marginal Insertion of the Umibilical Cord?
Not sure how extreme my case is, if the cord is just off-centered on the placenta or attached on the side of the placenta. (Will clarify with my dr at next appt). But I have to get ultrasounds every 3-4 weeks just to monitor the baby's growth.
Anyone ever heard of this or have/had it? I guess it's pretty rare (only found in 7% of pregnancies). But was hoping to hear others' stories. I really do NOT want to have a c-section and now I'm worried because of this I will. 😭😭😭
In the grand scheme of things I guess this is something minor, so I'm thankful I have a healthy baby. Just pleeeeeeeease be minor enough that I don't have to have a c-section!
