Already showing at 8 weeks?!

I'm just under 8 week pregnant with my first baby and my belly is already poking out like a baby bump. I've been dealing with bloat for a few weeks now and this is DEFINITELY different. My mother in law who has had multiple children swears it looks and feels like a baby bump. My brother in law whose girlfriend is 20 weeks pregnant felt it and said "that's definitely a baby bump". I googled baby bumps at 8 weeks and apparently is uncommon. It's perfectly round and firm, unlike bloat. My first doctor's appointment isn't for another week. Could I be showing this early? Could it be twins?! Advice please!
