power pumping?

Trying to figure out how to boost my supply. I'm already drinking lots of water, milkmaid tea, oatmeal and all that. I read where pumping for 20 min then rest for 10 then pump for 20, rest 10 pump for 20 rest 10 three times a day is supposed to mimic cluster feeds and boost supply. I'd like to try, but I wonder if it would work if I only did one side at a time (to leave something for baby). It also seems like a huge time suck. Let's say I nurse on the right then do the power pumping on the right. By the time I'm done it will be time to nurse again! Has anyone tried this and if so how has it worked for you?
