Has anyone hired a doula and them changed their mind? Either about the particular doula or about a doula in general?

I've only paid about half what I owe her, but I really just don't know if it's a good fit anymore. I did my research to help prepare for labor, and now I kinda think me and my husband would be able to handle it. Originally, I wanted a doula because I didn't think my husband could handle all the worry and wouldn't get to enjoy birth because he'd be too worried about me. Now I feel more confident in me and in him, and I just don't know. But I could easily say "k, go home." I can't easily say, "nevermind! I need you! Come back!"
