It just a week past my baby boy's 1 month and since day one we have struggled with the whole breast feeding thing. I meet with all lactation consultants the hospital had. I even went to wic and meet with theirs. And he's not tounge or lip tied. And his latch is great. I think it my over active let down that's the problem. We thought it was colic or an allergy but that's not it. He just doesn't like to bf he makes a discussed face and screams. Sometimes he latches or pops on and off and leaves my nipple crimped. I've tried every position for large breast and over active letdown. So from sore bleeding nipples I'm just pumping and bottle feeding. And I feel like a failure because we just can't get the hang of this bf thing. I know it only been a month. But it seem hopeless. My baby's full and seems happy that what most important to me but I feel pressured to bf like that's the easiest option. Am I alone?
