Around when are missed miscarriages common?

I'm 11 weeks and 3 days, had my last sono at 9weeks. Everything looked great, heartbeat of 150. I go again at 13 weeks, and even though it seems to all be fine I find myself obsessing over missed miscarriages. I had a complete miscarriage back in November at 6 weeks and 5 days. Symptoms and everything have been the same.. however I am taking a progesterone supplement (low prog at 7 weeks) and like I said it all seems to be progressing.. but I am scared to death of a missed miscarriage. Especially since I'm taking supplements, I feel like if I were to miscarry, God willing I don't, I wouldn't even know because the supplements. Long story short... when generally would you say it's most common to have a missed miscarriage? How common are they? When did you have your peace of mind? Planning on getting a fetal doppler soon.

I myself had a missed miscarriage. I found out almost at 12 weeks when the ultrasound tech couldn't find a heartbeat. The baby stopped measuring at 8 and half weeks. This was just a couple weeks ago when I found out and I'm scheduled for a D&C later this week.

Now I'm not sure if that is the time period it happens but I have read many stories like mine that have found out the same results. But then again I've heard earlier cases as well.

I had a silent miscarriage at 11 weeks last time and didn't know until my appointment at 12 weeks and doctor couldn't find heartbeat via doppler so they sent me for an ultrasound. I'm right around 11 weeks now and trying not to fret. Fortunately I've been severely sick with morning sickness today so I take it as a "baby's still kicking" sign. Lol just try to stay positive. I've done a lot of praying as reminding myself that each pregnancy is different

By 9 weeks, after seeing the hearbeat, your risk of a missed miscarriage drops to .5%. You're chances are incredibly low. I was scared too but then you go to your next sono and there they are. Don't worry ladies, we're already mothers trying to protect our little babies. Try to stay faithful and listen to your gut. Those babies are here to stay :)

I find myself obsessing over miscarrying as well, this is my first. Do you have any suggestions on how to easy the mind? I'm also thinking about getting a Doppler but I don't want to freaky myself out even more if I can't find the heartbeat myself. :/ I am very sorry for you loss, try to stay positive and not stress too much! If everything seems to be going good try not too worry as much! I know easier said than done

I had mine at 12 weeks exactly. They're most common in first trimester. I saw baby at 7.2 weeks and apparently they stopped growing at 7.5 weeks.

There is a poll asking this question posted with results in the miscarriage section. Personally mine died at 6 weeks1 day and I didn't find bd out til 9 weeks 1 day. A Mmc so I had a d and c since my body wasn't realizing it

Oh my, I have been feeling the same way. I had Blighted Ovum in February, so I worry all the time now. The last time I saw my little critter was at 9 weeks and 2 days. I go back this Friday, at 12 weeks and 2 days, and worried about a MMC, but I pray that this little one is ok everyday. A little glad to hear that I'm not the only one.

I ordered a Doppler because I was obsessing about mmc around nine weeks. It came in the mail right after my appointment at 10 weeks when the obgyn wasn't able to find the heartbeat with their Doppler at the office, which did not help the worrying at all. I was able to find the heartbeat with mine at home the next day. Best $30 I've spent so far this pregnancy! I love the peace of mind whenever I need it. I'm now almost 15 weeks and only use it maybe once a week for 1-2 minutes.

My doctor said most miscarriages happen at 8-9 weeks, and that a heartbeat at 10 weeks is promising. 
At 10+4 we could hear the heartbeat via Doppler, which was very emotional. So, we booked an ultrasound that day. Everything was fine.
Look up the cost of ultrasounds for your area. In my area, $150 was worth it to make sure the baby was alive and kicking, and out my mind at ease. It may be for you too.
You can also Google "chances of misscarraige by day" and there is some research available. It also helped put my mind at ease to check that every day.

I am the same... I'm 11+1 and my symptoms have changed from being absolutely horrible to somewhat bearable. I've also lost weight...? I had my 10w appt last week and my doc couldn't find the heart beat because she said my uterus was a little tilted - not helpful at all, so I have another appt next week to try again. I saw a devastating post yesterday where a woman's baby stopped growing after her 8 week appt and she didn't find out until week 11... I was not anticipating this type of worrying, but am trying to remain as positive as possible. Good luck to you!
