Hi everyone!! 😊 just wondering which expected date of delivery are you following? The one from the 1sr pre-natal or the latest ultrasound expected date of delivery??? Thanks 🌸

My doctor is going from my first dating ultrasound, I was going from my second. It got too confusing, now I'm going by what my doctor has to make it easier.

My original due date was Dec 16th. After my 12 week ultrasound my doctor changed it to Dec 13th. I had the anatomy ultrasound at 18 weeks and was measuring a week ahead. My doctor said that one is not accurate for dating

My 1st of LMP was Dec 4 and then at my 12 week dating scan it got moved to th 2nd and regardless of what I measure now that's still my official due date.

Most guidelines & research says only an ultrasound prior to 14W, along with date of lmp gives the most accurate due date. Doctors don't usually change due dates with subsequent u/s, in fact the ACOG recommends not changing due date based on ultrasounds in 2nd/3rd trimester. Regardless it's an estimate & while doctors follow the recommendations of the ACOG, it's not set in stone and I'm sure some doctors practice differently. In my area I was told they adhere to ACOG guidelines & don't change due dates later in pregnancy.

I used the most recent date given during my anatomy scan, which was only a day sooner than the original date.
