There are special.instructions on the back for pregnancy. You can't take quite as many in a 24hr period but that is all

Tums is the only meds I've taken and it's been almost daily. No more than 4 within 12 hours is what my doctor said.

I got healthy mama pills for heart burn made especially for pregnant women.

Yes! I cleared it with my doc. Don't take a ton of them and if you have any pre existing conditions be sure to ask your doc first (like kidney issues or bladder stuff)

My dr won't let me because I have a kidney stone that hasn't dropped from my kidney yet (could take years) and apparently tums make them much worse. When I was taking them before checking w my ob, my packaging said I could have 8 a day of the 500mg

Tums caused me to get kidney stones.....my doctor ended up prescribing me zantac

I've been told Tums are fine, avoid Rolaids. I was also prescribed ranitidine for my heartburn - pregnancy safe & sold over the counter as Zantac.
