Experienced moms! Best breast pump?!

Question

I'd love some opinions!! I know it's different based on body, nipple and many factors... but which pumps did you have the best success with? I hope to breast feed, but will need to pump and save some milk for back to work too. I have a close friend giving me her Avent double electric pump, which is so great! Just curious what's worked well for others ☺️

I've heard medela works great!... I have only used ameda though because I get it free through my insurance and I've had a pretty good time with it. ☺

I pumped exclusively with my first, so I've learned a lot about pumps over the 2 years I was breast feeding. The brands I most recommend are SpeCtra and Medela. They know their stuff when it comes to having the machine actually get the milk out.

I love my hygeia pump. I had a medala one too and it just didn't provide enough suction. I hated it.

Medela for sure, had the medela freestyle advanced with my first and gave it to a friend when I no longer used it so I ended up getting the same for this baby.

I got the best results with the Medela Lactina or Symphony. They're very pricey so I wouldn't recommend buying one but you can rent them. I rented mines from the hospital and my first three months was free because my baby was in the NICU.
