BC pill time

So I'm on the combination pill so 1 cycle for me is 3 weeks of hormones, and one week of sugar pills. I'm wondering if it matter the time of day I take my pill each cycle. Like, the first month I took it every evening when I got home around the same time. Then I had my sugar pill week. Does it matter if I switch to taking them in the morning as long as I'm consistent within the cycle?
